This undated photo released by New Jersey State Police shows Shamsiddin Abdur-Raheem. The 21-year-old Abdur-Raheem who told police he threw his infant daughter off a highway bridge into a New Jersey river Tuesday Feb. 16, 2010 has been charged with kidnapping and attempted murder.

Chuck E. Cheese, the restaurant and game center for children, is not where one would expect a riot to occur, but that's what happened when two families began fighting over a long line at the photo booth.
The alleged aggressor's family was there celebrating her son's birthday at the Chuck E. Cheese in Hickory Hill, Tenn. when a girl began complaining that their lengthy use of the photo booth was causing a long line to form.
The woman's stepfather reportedly punched the complaining girl in the face, which sparked a wider physical altercation between both families. Customers and children began running for the exits to escape the melee.
The young woman denies that any of this is her fault but admits she's "embarrassed" by the incident.
Members of both families face a variety of charges, from inciting a riot to threatening police officers to possession of marijuana.  Watch Video:  Source/Huffington Post
I guess when adults go to a childrens party, they are expected to act like children.  I hope they all spend a night in the slammer....or two nights.

I know that this guy has many many fans, but have you read his bio? Evidently he's been in trouble with the FTC over his misrepresenting facts in his claims. I've listened to a couple of his informercials and my opinion is that he is one slick dude. I wouldn't recommend you buy anything he sells. He sure has learned the art of the con.

WOW...I was amazed when I read this. I've always heard about fructose, but hadn't really understood the differences between Glucose and Fructose. I'm going to have to give up my Pepsi, or at least the amount I consume. I recommend reading this if you are health conscious.

Return of Real Time with Bill Maher

Bill Maher is back with the eighth season of "Real Time" premiering this Friday on HBO. To catch up with his fans he's recorded a rant on everything that happened during his hiatus, hitting on topics from health care to Sarah Palin's Fox deal to the Conan/Leno drama.
In true Maher fashion, he explained that Sarah Palin was prepared for the role of Fox News analyst by talking to her Down Syndrome son. This comes on the heels of a comedy controversy in which "Family Guy" mocked Trig Palin. Perhaps coincidentally (but we don't believe that for a minute) Seth MacFarlane will be Bill's guest this week on the roundtable along with Norah O'Donnell and Eliot Spitzer.

One of my favorite shows. I highly recommend that you watch if you can. Bill's observations of the world we live in and his ability to tell it like it is, makes this show one of the best on television.

With the proliferation of Web sites cultivating photos and videos of animals doing cute things, it's easier than ever to get your daily fix of the pet variety you have, or wish you had. Ever wonder what your preference for cats or dogs says about you?
A team of researchers led by psychologist Sam Gosling at the University of Texas at Austin Dog Cat Personalitywanted to find out. They posted a questionnaire online as part of a larger study about personality called the Gosling-Potter Internet Personality Project.
...It turns out that the "dog people" -- based on how people identified themselves, not on what animals they actually own -- tend to be more social and outgoing, whereas "cat people" tend to be more neurotic but "open," which means creative, philosophical, or nontraditional in this context...."To love cats, you have to be able to love things for themselves; they have their own life, they aren't necessarily dependent on you," he said. I enjoyed reading this as all of my friends have pets, some have dogs, and some have cats. I wasn't surprised by the findings however. I'm a cat person, always have been, though I do love all animals. If you have a pet I recommend reading this so to fully understand yourself and the people you care about that are pet owners too.

Square Watermelons???

A round watermelon can take up a lot of room in a refrigerator and the usually round fruit often sits awkwardly on refrigerator shelves.  Smart Japanese Farmers have forced the watermelons to grow into a square shape by inserting the melons into a square box with tempered glass cases while the fruit is still growing on the vine.
Gee...what will they think of next.  Gotta tell you though,  some countries are using their smart innovative people to become competitive in the world market. (I don't know if there's a big market for square watermelons, but just the thought that someone actually took an idea like this and saw it through to the finished product, amazes me.  And who knows there may come a day when you'd have to grow your own to get a round watermelon.)
