Sparta the Mean Kitty

The videos above are from YouTube, and feature Sparta. Click on them to watch these clever videos his owner has posted on YouTube. He is an Egyptian Mau, though he looks like a Bengal. (Bengals are a cross between an Asian Leopard cat and a domestic shorthair). In one video, you'll notice how Sparta fetches. (it's because they are VERY smart). I Hope you enjoy these short clips.

(PS. Sometimes weird videos will appear. Refresh the browser until the kitties show up).

6-year-old Says No To Gifts, Donates To Dog Rescue

MADISON (WKOW) -- A 6-year-old boy decided to forfeit his birthday gifts this year and will instead raise money for a local pit bull rescue organization.
Since his parents weren't in a position to take a new dog into their own home, Siris Letendre decided to raise money for Midwest Area Pitstop or MAPS. "He was really disappointed he couldn't get his own dog." said Siris' mother, Mia Letendre. "He was really hoping on saving a dog. Instead of saving one by adopting it, we thought we could at least help the ones in need of a home."
On Wednesday morning, Siris and his mother delivered $175 to the rescue and was able to meet some of the dogs his birthday donations will helpRead More: Source/WKOWTV.com  Birthday Boy
I found this to be a heartwarming story.  His parents must be very proud. And they should be.  They've done a good job with their parenting skills.  I wished all children were as unselfish as this.  Think of what kind of adults they would become.  Kudos.

I found this interesting and very important.  I didn't know for example that grapes were poisonous to animals...I'm sure this'll be helpful to any pet owner.
