It's Friday!!

Well..it's Friday again.  Spring is almost here.  My birthday is Sunday, and I made a vow on New Years that I was going to quit smoking on my birthday, (a habit I've had since I was 18).  I've tried before, but somehow this time feels different.  I know I have the quite a bit more resolve to see this through, and I know I will ultimately succeed.  So, the next time that you hear from me, I will be a non-smoker. 
 Everyone,  have a nice weekend.  I decided not to post on weekends, unless some spectacular or newsworthy event occurs, and I just have to express an opinion about it. 
  Drive Safe, play safe, do something fun with your family, and maybe, perform a random act of kindness for someone less fortunate than you.  See you Monday.

Looks like grandma needed some new shoes...It seems that she's been a criminal for over 50 years.  I suppose that this time her sentence will be a Life Sentence.

Marijuana Bust

5900 Pounds of Pot Seized in 24 Hours

 TUCSON, AZ (KOLD) - Officers seized more than 5,900 pounds of marijuana in several busts in less than 24 hours. U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officers say one of the most significant seizures is being credited to the Ajo Station All-Terrain Vehicle Unit where 772 pounds of marijuana were confiscated.

Burlington, N.C. --The husband of a local day care operator has been charged with inappropriately touching a 9-year-old girl who was enrolled at the facility.
 Police said Done Syhachack, 52, whose wife operates the Chen Family Child Care Home out of the couple's house on Morningside Drive, was arrested on charges of first-degree sex offense and taking indecent liberties with a child. Read More: Source/WXII12.com Child Molester

Helen Mirren to Play the Queen Again?

 Helen Mirren is reportedly set to reprise her role as British monarch Queen Elizabeth II in an upcoming film about Indira Gandhi.
 Mirren, who won an Academy Award for her portrayal of Elizabeth in 2006 movie The Queen, is being lined up to tackle the role again in Mother: The Indira Gandhi Story, a two-part biopic about the former Indian prime minister, who was assassinated in 1984.

  A teacher is explaining biology to her 3rd grade students. She says, "Human beings are the only animals that stutter."
  A little girl raises her hand, saying, "I had a kitty-cat who stuttered."
  The teacher, knowing how precious some of these stories could become, asked the girl to describe the incident.
  "Well,'' she began, "I was in the back yard with my kitty and the Rottweiler that lives next door got a running start and before we knew it, he jumped over the fence into our yard!"
  The teacher exclaimed, "That must've been scary."
  The little girl said, "It sure was. My kitty raised her back, went 'Sssss, Sssss, Sssss' and before she could say 'Shit,' the Rottweiler ate her!"
 
The teacher had to leave the room!
