Boy, 14, Shot By 10-year-old Playmate
SWISSVALE, Pa. -- A 14-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital Saturday morning following a shooting in Swissvale, in which police said the suspected shooter was a 10-year-old.
Police said the boys were playing with two small-caliber guns in a third floor bedroom of the home in the 7800 block of St. Lawrence Avenue. The gun accidentally discharged, hitting the teen boy in the chest, the Swissvale police chief told Channel 4 Action News.
“There [were] five juveniles in the house. One was playing with two guns in there,” Chief Greg Geppert said. “One shot the other one. A 10-year-old boy shot a 14-year-old.” Read More: Source/ThePittsburghchannel.com Shooting
I'm a believer in the 2nd Amendmant, but there needs to be better controls. One child shooting another with an uncontrolled gun ought to land the parents in jail.
